| BSNL 4G service at Kochi |
The BSNL authorities said on a press release that the 4G high speed internet connection is available in Kochi at 79 key areas and many other remote areas of the Kochi .The new technology , unlike the existing bsnl connections, doesn’t require a telephone connection or cable and is a wireless service (Wi-MAX) which will not be affected by road works or other external disturbances.
According to new plans attractive service packages are offers also available for bandwidths ranging from 512kbps to 2 Mbps.for home users the unlimited service comes with rupees 750 per month. This facility is also high range areas like Nedumkandam, Kattapana, Kumili, Peerumade, Munnar, Idukki, Adimaly and Suryanelli.
