Apple server hacked – News Report

A group supposedly made up of ex-members of LulzSec and Anonymous claimed on Twitter yesterday that it had hacked into an Apple server.

AntiSec posted details of some user names and passwords to the web and said that it had obtained access to the information because of a lack of security at Apple.

The tweet posted on Sunday suggested that Apple was a target for their activities but that hacking the Cupertino firm wasn’t its greatest priority.

Apple, so far, has not commented on the alleged hack. Sites that members of LulzSec and Anonymous claimed to have breached include the CIA, Sony, AT&T and Arizona state.

The hack into Sony has cost that company dear in terms of credibility and its apparent inability to limit the extent of the hack.
